Terms of service

These terms apply to the QueAura app, the game pages players open, and QueAura's online service for AI-written questions (together, "QueAura"), operated by Kerbdrop LLC ("we"). By using QueAura you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how information is handled.
Using QueAura
You may use QueAura to host and play games for yourself, your friends, your workplace or your venue. Signing in and buying AI games are for people aged 18 or over (or the age of majority where you live). Players can join without an account at the host's invitation.
The host's responsibility
Games run on the host's own phone and network. The host is responsible for their event, the questions they use or write, the nicknames they allow (they can remove any player), and for following local rules, for example on prizes or on asking players for information in a questionnaire. QueAura checks questions and nicknames against a list of offensive words, but no check is perfect.
Acceptable use
Don't use QueAura to create or show content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit or that infringes others' rights; don't try to get around our checks, overload or attack the service, or access other people's accounts; and don't resell AI-written questions as a service. We may suspend or close an account that does.
AI-written questions
AI-written questions can be wrong, out of date or ambiguous. QueAura shows you each one with its answer before it is saved; please check them, especially for prizes. Questions you keep are yours to use. Because they are generated, similar questions may be written for other people. Requests are sent to AI providers as described in the privacy policy.
AI games and payments
- An AI game is a block of AI-written questions (currently 50, regenerations included); new accounts get some free. Questions are counted as they are written, including ones you choose not to keep. If writing fails, nothing is used up.
- AI games are bought through Google Play, which handles payment and refunds under its own policies. They don't expire, have no cash value, can't be transferred between accounts, and are tied to the account that bought them.
- If a purchase is refunded or charged back, the AI games it gave are taken back, which can make the balance negative until more are bought.
- We may change prices and pack sizes for future purchases; AI games you already have are unaffected. We may also give AI games for promotions or support.
- If we stop offering AI-written questions, we'll give notice in the app and refund unused purchased AI games where the law requires.
Availability
Games themselves don't depend on our service. AI-written questions need the internet and our service, which may sometimes be unavailable or change. We'll try to give notice of significant changes.
Our rights
The QueAura app, name, logo and designs belong to us. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the app as allowed here. Some parts are open-source or third-party material used under their licences (for example fonts and the offensive-word list), credited in the app.
Disclaimers and liability
QueAura is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we don't promise it will be error-free or always available, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for more than what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.
Ending
You can stop using QueAura at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end access for breaking these terms. Purchased AI games are lost if an account is closed for breaking them.
Changes and disputes
We may update these terms; we'll post the new version here with its date, and tell signed-in hosts in the app about significant changes. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, USA, without limiting the consumer protections of where you live.
